Dark Sky Project Base

Rehua, our Dark Sky Project Base is open at the below times.

Monday - Sunday || 9:00am - Late

We're doing our best to keep up with our communication, and it can take up to 48 hours to get an answer. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Dark Sky Diner 

Thursday to Monday || 9am - 9pm

The Dark Sky Diner is currently closed on Tuesday & Wednesday. 

Astro Cafe

Astro Cafe: Monday - Sunday || 10am - 3pm (final order at 2.30pm)

Mt John access road:  Monday - Sunday || 10am - 4pm

Please note: The Astro Café may be closed in certain weather conditions - in this instance, the entrance to Ōtehīwai Mount John will be shut. The Dark Sky Diner located at the Dark Sky Project base will open from 10am on days when the weather conditions prevent the Astro Café from opening.
